Life is a journey, full of ups & downs, good & bad, right & wrong. These are my thoughts: My thoughts. We are unique, each of us. You are welcome to disagree. You are welcome to relate. I have experienced good and evil; life and death. I am on the other side of the world. I am Nora Marie. I am the girl next door. I am everyone. I am no one.
I have been on both sides…both sides of the grass…both sides of God’s love. I have experienced the heartbreak of divorce and death, and the joy of God’s sunrise, forgiveness, and restoration. I have experienced rejection from God’s people as well as the people closest to me. But more than that, I have experienced the comfort and acceptance of a loving God who forgives my failings, who gives hope and purpose. I want that for you too.
My prayer for everyone that finds their way to this site will feel they are not alone, that there is no situation that has not been before, and that there is hope. In God above, we have forgiveness, healing, redemption, and total acceptance. I am imperfect. I am a Jesus lover. In reading my thoughts, my hope is that you will take my mistakes and turn them into your lessons; take my failings and turn them into your successes; take my Lord and make him yours.
Formless in the beginning, this blog is quickly taking shape. The mind flows, sometimes finding its way through the pen. A word of caution; if you are of the perfect sort, and have no patience for fallible people, this site is not for you. If you realize we all fail, and are looking for a spirit of restoration, a lot of reality mixed with a little humor, and hope from my failings; this blog may be for you. If you are only able to be encouraged and uplifted by flowery words, this site is not for you. If you want to hear words that speak of the realities of the fallen world we live in, dive right in.
I am excited for you to take this journey with me. Together, maybe we can change our world.

Thanks Patty! I wish I took the picture, but this pic is one of the very few on my blog that I cannot take credit for. When I saw the picture, I was reminded of a time when I wore those masks, hiding the pain underneath. We cannot be anything but accepting for none of us have any less worth in God’s eyes than another…no matter what we’ve done, where we’ve been, or who we are! I pray you have a fabulous day!!

I dropped by the other day and read a post then dashed off, then seeing your follow I decided to explore a little further. I liked what I saw and will follow too. (I particularly like blogs that give God the glory without being “preachy”).
I also experienced a reluctance to “expose my true identity” initially but later shared it in a “Who am i anyway?” post for those that wanted to know. Some of the sweet, genuine folks out there gave me that confidence God bless them. I’m gonna follow also as I’d like to read more of your posts.

Thank you Claire for your sweet encouragement. I enjoyed your blog as well! We all have a voice to give…and being real is the only way I see to give God glory…even if it hurts. Praying blessings your way!
